Baker & Taylor Integrates Axis 360 API With Polaris ILS
Baker & Taylor announced the integration of its Axis 360 API with Innovative’s Polaris ILS, which is now available to all Polaris ILS customers. This partnership is designed to simplify patrons’ discovery experience and improve digital library administration.“Completing the integration of Axis 360 and Polaris ILS is an important moment that will improve the library experience for our customers and their patrons,” says George Coe, Baker & Taylor’s CEO and president. “[B]y working together, we are making sure the technologies libraries rely on run seamlessly and are easy to use.” Patrons can find Axis 360’s ebooks and e-audiobooks, see real-time availability for items, and check out and place holds on titles, all from within their library’s catalog.
