Alacra Launches Alacra Affiliate Widget
Alacra, Inc. launched the Alacra Affiliate Widget, a pay-per-action advertising vehicle. The Alacra Affiliate Widget allows bloggers, financial commentary, and business website owners to increase the revenue they generate from their content pages. It is a widgetized version of the Alacra Premium Content Ad Network launched earlier this year. The widget scrolls headlines of relevant business research—credit and investment research reports, market research, and company profiles—all available for purchase at www.alacrastore.com. Blog and website owners receive a royalty from all research sold through the widget under the Alacra affiliate program. The Alacra Affiliate Widget is complementary to a site’s existing advertising programs. The widget, which can be installed on a blog with just a few mouse clicks, is configured to retrieve content that is contextually relevant to the page. Utilizing proprietary entity extraction technology, the Alacra Affiliate Widget scans the content of a page in order to deliver relevant ads. If a blog post or web article is discussing a planned company acquisition, for example, the widget would display recent credit and investment research and analyst call transcripts about the deal. For pages that are not focused on a specific company, the widget can be configured to serve ads with links to timely research on markets, venture capital, technology, and more. The Alacra Affiliate Widget can be freely installed on any blog or website. To get the Alacra Widget or for more information, visit www.alacrastore.com/widget. Source: Alacra, Inc.
