Adam Matthew Releases Archive of Colonial American Life

Adam Matthew rolled out the first module of Colonial America, a five-part research collection composed of all 1,450 files from The National Archives’ CO 5 class (covering 1606–1822). It features the correspondence of the Board of Trade and secretaries of state with the North American and Caribbean colonies, among other materials documenting life in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Module I is titled Early Settlement, Expansion and Rivalries. The rest of the collection will be released during the next 5 years.
