Adam Matthew Finishes Its World War I Archive

Adam Matthew completed its First World War portal with the release of the final section, Visual Perspectives and Narratives. Sources for the portal, which is also composed of the Personal Experiences and Propaganda and Recruitment sections, come from the holdings of the U.K.’s IWM (Imperial War Museums).

Primary sources in the final section include international official and personal photographs, manuscripts, artwork, and films on themes such as the role of women, the British home front, and food and rationing. Interactive maps, a glossary, and an illustrated chronology are among the secondary sources.
