Accessible Archives Content to be Available Via Primo Central

Ex Libris Group announced that scholarly resources from Accessible Archives, Inc., a publisher of electronic full-text searchable historical databases, will be directly available via the Primo Central mega-aggregate of scholarly e-content.

The compilations from Accessible Archives provide in-depth access to primary materials related to American history, such as colonial newspapers, Civil War books and newspapers, African American newspapers, county histories, and Godey's Lady's Book magazine. Developed by Americana experts, the databases make the content come to life through the inclusion of full-page images and the use of the latest technology.

A new component of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution, the Primo Central index of scholarly materials provides users with access to their library's entire collection of electronic journals, e-books, and other scholarly content with the same speed and ease that they enjoy when they access local, institutional resources. Primo presents the search results in a single merged list, sorted by relevance. Accessible Archives content is now included in this centralized index of data, which is harvested from primary and secondary publishers and aggregators.
