ALA Offers New Advocacy Tools
In an article in American Libraries, Kathi Kromer, associate executive director of ALA’s Washington Office, describes ALA’s new advocacy tools on its redesigned advocacy website. The site now features a video on how to team up with local news media to promote your library and offers resources that explain how to connect with journalists and make use of social media. It also provides plug-and-play resources, downloads, template letters, a congressional calendar, and more. ALA will add other resources, such as two new videos, in the coming months.For more information, read the article.
