ACP Smart Medicine Joins OvidSP
Wolters Kluwer Health expanded its partnership with the American College of Physicians (ACP), making ACP Smart Medicine available on Wolters Kluwer Health’s OvidSP medical research platform. ACP’s peer-reviewed clinical journal Annals of Internal Medicine and Evidence-Based Medicine Reviews (EBMR) database are also accessible on OvidSP.ACP Smart Medicine, an evidence-based clinical reference tool, is searchable with EBMR, MEDLINE, and other Ovid resources using a single search query with a single results list. In ACP Smart Medicine, users can search 500-plus original diagnosis and treatment recommendations for common conditions in internal medicine. Features include instructions on diagnosis, differential diagnosis tables, therapy recommendations, follow-up procedures, and patient education information. “With content developed and reviewed by actual physicians, the ACP is highly regarded as one of the world’s most reliable sources of information,” according to Andrew Richardson, vice president of business development at Wolters Kluwer Health Medical Research.
