Hooverís Expands Private Company Coverage
Hoover's, Inc. (http://www.hoovers.com), a D&B company, announced the imminent expansion of its private company coverage with the release in early 2007 of additional data for the top 250,000 private companies in the U.S. ranked by total sales. This release will more than triple the number of private company records in Hoover's database.
In addition to key company content such as contact information and d/b/a's (doing business as), private company data will include up to 3 years of financials where available, revealing a snapshot of the financial health of a company on a specific date. The launch will also include income statement data where available, providing a detailed compilation of the money a business makes or loses over a specific period of time.
In addition to executive names, biographies, company history, and corporate-linkage data, the enhancements may also include, where available, key business ratios and industry norms such as profitability, solvency, efficiency, and utilization.Source: Hoover's, Inc.
