IRN Research Launches Marketresearchontheweb.com
IRN Research has launched Marketresearchontheweb.com (MROW), a new gateway service offering direct links to market data, company/product lists and directories, statistics, and industry news on over 3,000 regularly evaluated U.K. and European sites. The sites include trade associations, professional bodies, research institutes, chambers of commerce, market research publishers, trade journals, and portals.
MROW is searchable by industry sector, keyword, geographical area, and organization type.
Most of the sites included in MROW offer free access to data and statistics, and MROW offers subscribers quick, direct links to this information. All sites are evaluated regularly by IRN Research and new sites are added weekly. The sites cover 31 industry sectors (a full list of sectors is available at http://www.irn-research.com/mrowsectorlist.html). MROW also offers a guide to the terminologies, concepts, classifications, and statistical devices used in market research and statistical analysis and publishing, called Guide to Market Data and Statistics.
Subscriptions are available for single and multiple corporate users and for academic and public libraries. A free trial subscription to the "Food, Drink, and Tobacco" sector is offered.
IRN Research, a market research company established in 1991, provides research consultancy and business information services to large and small organizations across a broad range of industry sectors. IRN Research director David Mort, a past president of the European Chapter of SLA, said: "At launch, MROW focuses on U.K. sites, and sites from major European countries, but further product developments will concentrate on additional European sources and areas outside Europe."
