ebrary (http://www.ebrary.com) launched two new subscription e-book databases for the corporate marketplace: Leadership and Management (770 titles) and Sales and Marketing (680 titles). Like all ebrary subscription databases, these new databases are available under a simultaneous, multi-user access model. The databases feature current e-books from publishers such as AMACOM Books, John Wiley & Sons, Jossey-Bass Publishers, Kaplan Publishing, The McGraw-Hill Companies, and many others.

The new databases are designed to help employees make important business decisions and develop their skills. ebrary's e-book databases provide anytime, anywhere access to content that seamlessly integrates with relevant internal corporate information as well as external Web-based resources through ebrary's InfoTools software.

ebrary's Leadership and Management and Sales and Marketing e-book databases are available through ebrary's authorized corporate reseller, Local Knowledge Online (sales@localko.com). They are priced according to the number of user seat licenses within the corporation.

ProQuest Information and Learning (http://www.il.proquest.com) announced the introduction of ND Press, a new service enabling librarians to print reference copies of today's newspapers from around the world directly in the library. ProQuest will distribute ND Press to public, academic, government, and corporate libraries worldwide.

ND Press, a service by NewspaperDirect (http://www.newspaperdirect.com), prints exact newspaper replicas of more than 330 titles from 60 countries in 36 languages. ND Press is designed to support academic research particularly in the fields of international studies, political science, and business. In addition, ND Press serves a public library's diverse population by providing access to newspapers from around the world the same day the paper is released. ND Press has a broad selection of titles such as Le Monde, Frankfurter Allegemaine Zeitung, El Pais, and Mainichi Shimbun, as well as key titles from the United States, including the Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune, and The Washington Post.

ND Press allows newspapers to be printed from multiple workstations to any networked printers. Libraries can customize their service to have titles printed automatically or as needed. The new service offers a 60-day archive of past issues. Users have the option of printing the entire newspaper or individual page prints, including article text, advertisements, classifieds, and notices (varies by publication).

With more than 500 print locations in 70-plus countries, NewspaperDirect delivers newspapers to hotels, libraries, cruise ships, corporate offices, retail outlets, home subscribers, and Web browsers.

EOS International (http://www.eosintl.com) announced the latest release of EOS.Web Express and EOS.Web Enterprise, which aim to further reduce daily workloads for library staff. Based on scalable Microsoft .NET technologies, EOS.Web is designed to provide easy management of both print and electronic resources, enabling the creation of "hybrid" digital libraries. Included in this release are the ability to add multiple subjects simultaneously when cataloging, expanded ability to clone catalog copy and item records, and several report and set-up enhancements, in addition to other acquisition, cataloging, and serials functionality enhancements. All EOS e-Library Service clients will have their upgrades automatically installed for them. EOS.Web clients who have local EOS.Web installations can download their upgrade release directly from SupportNet, the EOS Web-based client support site.
