ebrary Announces New Publisher Partners

ebrary (http://www.ebrary.com), a provider of information distribution and retrieval services, announced that it has signed agreements with two major publishers to distribute their titles through multiple online channels, including libraries, institutions, and other online organizations. The announcement of the relationships with John Wiley & Sons (http://www.wiley.com), a publisher of STM texts, and academic publisher Greenwood Publishing Group (http://www.greenwood.com) adds two significant names to ebrary's roster of over 80 key publishing partners signed to date. According to the announcement, the initiative enables ebrary's publishing partners to tap new online markets quickly and efficiently, while allowing customers who use the company's ebrarian software to give their patrons and users access to authoritative titles ranging from college-level educational books to highly specialized professional titles and best-selling business resources.

ebrary is privately held and is funded by Random House Ventures LLC, Pearson, PLC, and The McGraw-Hill Co.
