Vivísimo Launches Free Site Search for Nonprofits

Vivísimo, Inc. ( has launched Clusty Site Search Service, a free search service for nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. The new product provides nonprofits with a free search box and clustered search results in a uniquely branded and dedicated search tab at

According to Vivísimo, Clusty Site Search Service was developed to help resource-strapped Webmasters and organizations provide a "world-class search experience" for their visitors, while preserving their site's identity. With Clusty Site Search Service, a visitor who searches a nonprofit or educational institution Web site is directed to a dedicated search tab at The tab, which highlights the organization's name in red to help maintain brand identity, produces search results clustered in trademark Vivísimo fashion. Visitors can then navigate results by theme and locate information or discover topics that otherwise would be buried in a list of search results. The service is designed to provide a better search experience for the user and a more effective, informational Web site for the organization.

Clusty Site Search Service is now available for organizations with domains ending in .org, .edu, and .net as well as for school districts with domains that contain "k12" and end in .us. For more information, visit To try Clusty Site Search Service, visit some of the organizations that have implemented it, including the Fox Chapel Area School District (, Carnegie Mellon University's computer science department (, the Free Tibet Campaign (, the Pittsburgh History Museum (, and Rational Revolution (
