The Getty's Catalogs Advance Its Open Access Strategy

Getty Publications launched two free catalogs that highlight items in the J. Paul Getty Museum’s antiquities collections: Roman Mosaics and Ancient Terracottas from South Italy and Sicily. These catalogs are available online or as downloadable PDFs or ebooks. Readers can zoom in on images and interactive maps, view linked footnotes and glossaries, and get 360-degree views of objects. The Getty is planning more digital open access (OA) publications for the coming years.

For more information, read the press release.
