Research Reproducibility Startups Join Digital Science

Digital Science added Gigantum (a data science platform) and Ripeta (an automated reproducibility assessment tool) to its stable of companies. The startups, both based in the U.S., “are playing a key role in making scientific research reproducible and more transparent,” Digital Science notes. Ripeta is working on a “credit report” designed to help scientific publications improve their communication of research, and the Gigantum platform supports large-scale, data-oriented scientific research.
