News Announced at Online Information 2002

Other announcements made last week in London at Online Information 2002 include the following:
  • Factiva announced enhancements to its service.
  • Dialog's NewsRoom service is now available through Dialog NewsEdge.
  • MedPilot, a joint project of ZBMed and DIMDI, is a new search portal that enables simultaneous searching in various medical databases with only one search request.
  • Elsevier Science announced its "Library Connect" program to keep librarians informed.
  • Thomson Derwent announced the release of Derwent Analytics, a new data mining and visualization software product for the desktop for patent information.
  • STN Easy for intranets has been enhanced.
  • xrefer announced that it will release in early 2003 a new content selection system for its digital reference library, xreferplus.
  • ISI announced that it will add personalization and alerting to the ISI Web of Knowledge in 2003.
