New Workshop Explores Quality and Integrity of Data

National Federation of Advanced Information Services (NFAIS) and CENDI announced that they will co-sponsor a workshop on Nov. 20, 2014. Its theme will be Data Infrastructure: The Importance of Quality and Integrity, and the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) will host the event at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

This workshop is designed to benefit anyone who creates, manages, or uses scientific data. Discussions will center on the technical, financial, political, social, and cultural influences to consider when assessing data’s quality and integrity.

NFAIS (of which Information Today, Inc. is a proud member) and CENDI (which serves the federal information community) are currently confirming the speaker list and completing the agenda. Registration opens on Sept. 15.
