LexisNexis File & Serve Launches First Integrated Online Destination

LexisNexis U.S. (http://www.lexisnexis.com) announced that it has expanded LexisNexis File & Serve to offer attorneys a one-stop online destination for paper filing, paper service, service of process, electronic filing, and electronic service. The service lets litigators manage their filing, service, and service-of-process needs in one place with one vendor, regardless of jurisdiction or the required filing format (paper or electronic).

The new service, which is available in California for filing to any court in the state, service between law firms, and service of process upon case parties or witnesses, is part of the LexisNexis Total Litigator. The service will be extended to other states in 2007.

The Internet-based File & Serve service provides electronic and paper delivery of public and sealed documents filed within the court and exchanged between attorneys. More than 70,000 court personnel and legal professionals nationwide file, serve, and manage an estimated 21 million documents annually for more than 1 million cases with File & Serve.
