LexisNexis Enhances Company Dossier

LexisNexis (http://www.lexisnexis.com) has enhanced its Company Dossier product with many new features. The company said the enhancements took 18 months to implement and comprise the biggest changesin 5 years. The enhancements are designed to make searching and finding results easier, with easier access through a new transactional pricing option. A new delivery manager function to increase ease of printing and delivery of documents is now available.

Dossier is now available transactionally. Prior to this release, use was on a subscription-basis only. Now, users can purchase a single report, allowing less frequent users or casual users to access Dossier on a pay-as-you-go basis.

The user interface has been revamped to be cleaner, easier to navigate, and redesigned to better fit the user work flow. The results screen is cleaner, with the company headquarters listed first, allowing users to see pertinent information right away. Users can now search by NAICS, in addition to SIC, and also by attorney and legal counsel.

The Delivery Manager feature allows users to select documents and hold them in the delivery area prior to print, download, or e-mail. Print and download options include PDF, DOC, WPD, TXT, and RTF. E-mail options include as inline text or an attachment as a PDF, DOC, WPD, TXT, or RTF file.
