LYRASIS and DuraSpace Dissolve Intent to Merge

The boards of LYRASIS and DuraSpace have decided not to merge the two organizations after 4 months of formal due diligence and 6 months of exploration. The press release notes that “a full merger is not currently the best way for each organization to achieve its long-term goals.” Instead, they will pursue informal collaborations that will allow each organization to focus on its mission.
