Kluwer Launches New Service for Wireless Research

Kluwer Academic Publishers (KAP) has launched Kluwer Wireless, a new online service devoted to wireless research and development. This digital library offers over 40,000 pages of peer-reviewed research from experts in the field of wireless. Information is categorized and sorted by independent wireless consultants according to the needs of research professionals. Detailed information can be found at

Journals offered in this packaged service include: Wireless Networks, Mobile Networks and Applications, Wireless Personal Communications, International Journal of Wireless Information Networks, BT Technology Journal, Journal of VLSI Signal Processing, and others. Kluwer Wireless also includes full-text access to Kluwer's wireless book content in keyword searchable eBook format. Kluwer will update this service as new material is published, adding over 1,000 pages of new content monthly.

In addition to electronic Journals, eBooks, Online Reference Works and Custom Books, visitors to this gateway can sign up to receive free information on new wireless R&D publications through Kluwer Alert, the e-mail notification service that delivers journal tables of contents and new product information to a subscriber's desktop.

Note: Last fall, Wolters Kluwer sold KAP to Candover and Cinven, two private equity funds based in London.
