In separate news, Inxight announced that it has raised a $22 million round of Series D financing from venture-capital and corporate sources, led by VantagePoint Venture Partners, a large venture-capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Other participating investors include Reed Elsevier and existing Inxight investors Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Deutsche Bank. The company plans to use the latest round of financing to initiate aggressive growth plans, including both internal expansion and strategic market acquisition activities.
