IMLS Gets Budget Assurance Through September 2017

The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced that the president signed a $1.1 trillion spending bill that funds the federal government through the end of September 2017 and includes $231 million for IMLS ($1 million more than it received in FY2016). IMLS programs that get increases in funding are Grants to States, National Leadership Grants for Libraries, and National Leadership Grants for Museums.
