EBSCO Increases Links to JSTOR, Adds Access to Elsevier Content

EBSCO has announced that researchers in libraries with access to JSTOR collections can now link directly from more than 100,000 citations in many of EBSCO's secondary databases to the full text of articles in the JSTOR archive. With this function in place, EBSCO has completed implementation of its linking agreement with JSTOR, which allows links from both EBSCO's proprietary and secondary databases to many of the 242 titles available in JSTOR's archival collections. JSTOR is an independent not-for-profit organization with a mission to create an archive of important scholarly journals and to extend access to those journals as broadly as possible.

Through a recent agreement between EBSCO Information Services and Elsevier Science, users of EBSCOhost Electronic Journals Service (EJS) now have article-level access through CrossRef to Elsevier Science journals if they have a license to access ScienceDirect. EJS offers a portal to more than 8,400 e-journals and more than 3.6 million articles.
