EBSCO Database Offers Resources for Military Members

EBSCO Information Services’ new Military Transition Support Center is a resource that families and members of the military can use during their transition to civilian life. By aggregating about 2,000 full-text magazines, journals, and trade publications; 20-plus ebooks; and about 250 videos, EBSCO created a database that supports military members as they look for information on subjects such as employment, education, personal financial management, and family wellness.

Military and government libraries can offer the resources in the support center as part of formal or informal transition support programs or as a reference tool for individual users. Topics were chosen with input from military librarians, and the user interface is organized by topic for simplified searching.
