EBSCO Gains New President and CEO

EBSCO appointed Tim Collins president and CEO of the company effective July 1, 2014. Collins, who is the current president of EBSCO Information Services (the largest division of EBSCO), will work from his office in Massachusetts. All executives will report to him; EBSCO Information Services will not have a new president.

Collins replaces F. Dixon Brooke Jr., who will retire on June 30, 2014. He has been president and CEO for more than 8 years. Brooke will continue to serve on EBSCO’s board of directors.

With 27 years of experience at EBSCO, Collins has established himself as a leader in his field. Each year has shown sales growth, according to the press release. Brooke calls him determined and competitive and has “no doubt he will succeed in leading EBSCO to new performance highs.”
