Dialog Offers Unlimited Access Plan to Academics

Dialog (http://www.dialog.com), a Thomson business, announced that it is now offering its Dialog Choice pricing plan, featuring unlimited access to key research databases at fixed annual rates, to academic institutions worldwide. Academic institutions opting for Dialog Choice fixed annual subscriptions may provide unlimited access to the entire institution or to specific users within selected departments or units. Dialog introduced the Dialog Choice plan for enterprise customers in February 2004. It has been available to corporations, government agencies, law firms, and other enterprises.

Ninety-two databases of research, business intelligence, and news content are now available for annual subscriptions through the Dialog Choice plan. The company expects to add additional databases to the roster over time. The available content ranges from intellectual property research (such as patent records from major markets around the world) to abstracts of scholarly research published in thousands of peer-reviewed journals.Source: Dialog
