Classical.com Offers Library Subscription Service

Classical.com has launched a new interactive, streaming classical music subscription service for libraries. The service offers on-demand listening for library users to 10,000 plus classical music recordings and an easy-to-access supplementary resource that includes hundreds of themed playlists, plus thousands of key composer and artist biographies, and program notes on essential works and movements.

Unique to the service is its user-friendliness and ease of customization, as well as the opportunity for remote access at a home PC as well as in the library building.

Following a successful trial in the U.K.'s Westminster Libraries in London, Classical.com has publicly launched the new service, now available to libraries and institutions worldwide. For more information, go to http://www.classical.com/libraries.
