CSA Adds New Databases

CSA (http://www.csa.com) announced it has added several new databases to its CSA Illumina online platform.

PsycCRITIQUES, published by the American Psychological Association (APA), is now available through the CSA Illumina platform. The database provides full-text access to reviews of current books and some popular films, videos, and software as well as comparative reviews of book reviews. PsycCRITIQUES replaces the print journal Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books. PsycCRITIQUES delivers approximately 20 reviews of psychological books, most from the current copyright year.

Two databases from the Center for Information and Numerical Data Analysis and Synthesis (CINDAS) at Purdue University have been newly integrated into the CSA Illumina platform— CINDAS Thermophysical Properties of Matter Database and CINDAS Microelectronics Packaging Materials Database. This provides a software solution that allows users to visualize the properties of selected materials under varying conditions. The databases are produced by CINDAS LLC, formed exclusively to disseminate materials properties data collected and analyzed at Purdue University.

Electronic access is now available to the full text of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) through CSA Illumina. The new collection, Environmental Impact Statements: Full-Text & Digests, provides access to draft and final versions of all EISs issued by the U.S. federal government since 2003. It also provides searchable access to digests of all EISs issued since 1985.

CSA specializes in publishing and distributing in print and electronically 100 bibliographic and full-text databases and journals in four primary editorial areas: natural sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities, and technology.
