CQ Launches CQ HomelandSecurity Service
Congressional Quarterly, Inc. (CQ; http://www.cq.com), a provider of news and analysis on the federal government, has announced its newest online product, CQ HomelandSecurity. The new subscription-based service offers access to comprehensive and timely information on defense and security within U.S. borders. CQ HomelandSecurity is a real-time, Web-based news and legislative tracking service that's updated throughout the day. Subscribers will be able to browse the latest news, select specific topics, or search for homeland security contacts.CQ HomelandSecurity incorporates CQ's expertise in legislative tracking, allowing subscribers to follow the hottest homeland security legislation, review informative status reports on all homeland bills, and read custom CQ bill analyses. CQ HomelandSecurity will also produce a morning e-mail newsletter containing links to all homeland security stories produced by CQ experts who are dedicated solely to this issue. The product also gives subscribers exclusive access to a special homeland security version of CQ schedules, complete with dates, times, and hearing room locations. Subscribers to CQ.com On Congress, CQ's Web site that provides the full spectrum of Congress-related information and legislative tracking tools, will have the ability to jump to On Congress from the CQ HomelandSecurity home page, and vice versa.
